What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Provide overall leadership for a seven-year grassland conservation project across 400,000+ acres in the Great Plains
  • Supervise and support a geographically distributed team including Project Managers and Grazing Specialists
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with ranchers, land managers, and partner agencies
  • Guide implementation of adaptive grazing and grassland management practices

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in rangeland management, wildlife biology, ecology, agriculture, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 7-10 years of experience in grassland conservation, grazing management, or working lands conservation
  • Experience coordinating complex projects with multiple partners across large geographies
  • Working knowledge of grazing systems, rangeland ecology, and conservation on private lands
