Mission

What you will drive

  • Manage a portfolio of grants from trusts, foundations, and institutional funders, ensuring compliance and timely reporting.
  • Draft compelling funding proposals, cases for support, and progress reports that translate complex science-based campaigns into funder-friendly narratives.
  • Build and maintain grant management systems and infrastructure to support a growing fundraising function.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Philanthropy & Foundations on major proposals and donor stewardship.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Two or more years of experience in grant writing, trusts and foundations fundraising, or a closely related role (e.g., bid writing, policy writing).
  • Experience working on proposals or grants targeting major US, UK, or European foundations.
  • Excellent written English with ability to translate complex science-based content into compelling narratives.
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills; comfort with data, budgets, and financial figures.
