Grants Officer – Maternity Cover - Madrid, Spain

• Carry-out due diligence reviews on new and existing grantees
• Generate and monitor grant requests in FLUXX, ECF's grant management system
• Monitor budget and follow-up the grant contracting stage
• Support programmatic teams with their regranting budget planning and ensure reconciliation between planning budgets and the FLUXX system

This role supports strategic grantmaking that drives urgent and ambitious climate policy in line with the Paris Agreement, contributing to a net-zero emission society and sustainable transition in Europe and globally.

• 3-4 years of experience in an administrative and financial role
• Excellent command of English and Spanish (knowledge of other languages is a strong added value)
• Computer literate with good knowledge of MS Office and excellent knowledge of Excel
• Some experience in budget oversight and planning
