Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities for the Grants Associate include:

  • Processing grants across all Funds by determining grant structure, conducting due diligence on grantees, and tracking details in Salesforce
  • Managing the grant lifecycle including tracking payments, keeping program staff and grantees informed, and answering questions throughout the diligence and payment process
  • Developing structural solutions to logistical roadblocks and constantly improving systems to remove administrative hassle and grow grantmaking expertise
  • Owning related projects such as supporting new legal entity setup, tracking program budgets, managing logistics for complex programs, and creating new processes and automations

Required qualifications and skills:

  • At least two years of operations-relevant experience (legal compliance, finance, or consulting experience is a bonus)
  • Transparent, professional, and empathetic communication skills to break down complex information for grantees
  • Ability to handle complexity, own projects without clear playbooks, break down novel challenges, and apply empirical and logical reasoning
  • Exceptional organizational skills and conscientiousness with motivation to keep systems clean, accurate, and up-to-date
