Grantmakers / Senior Generalists, Global Catastrophic Risks

• Identify and fund high-impact projects addressing catastrophic risks from AI and biotechnology.
• Investigate grant opportunities and evaluate which projects merit funding.
• Own special projects beyond grantmaking, such as incubating initiatives and headhunting founders.
• Design and implement new grantmaking initiatives across AI governance, biosecurity, and capacity building.

• Strong analytical and evaluation skills for assessing grant proposals.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
• Experience in grantmaking, philanthropy, or related fields.
• Knowledge of global catastrophic risks, AI safety, or biosecurity preferred.
