Grant Writer and Fundraiser: opportunity to assist with the identification, selection and application of unique funding initiatives for the Tuesdays for Trash movement and kids book Journey to Away. Duties include:

1. Prospect identification, research and application of funding proposals

2. Tracking and documentation of communications

3. Research potential initiatives and grants to apply for

4. Facilitate reviews and edits to grant proposals

Qualifications:

1. Excellent writing skills and proofreading

2. Self motivated, detail oriented and ability to work under deadlines

3. Proficient in microsoft word and google drive

4. Passion/Understanding of the climate and environmental industry

5. Willingness to learn and positive attitude

6. Willing to work remotely
