Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Managing institutional grants for a portfolio of the client's programs, including providing top-tier client and project management
- Writing compelling narratives for letters of inquiry, proposals, and other collateral; working with clients to understand their organization and desired voice
- Identifying funding opportunities through online research, phone calls, and email follow-up
- Cultivating and stewarding strong funder relationships through outreach and supporting client meetings with institutional funders

Profile
What makes you a great fit
Required skills and experience:
- At least two years of experience in grant writing, with priority given to experience with grants from private foundations and public charities
- Demonstrated familiarity with nonprofit environmental advocacy strategies (litigation, legislation, rulemaking, grassroots power-building)
- Proven success in client-facing project/account management or relationship building
- Proven ability to organize and synthesize large amounts of information into compelling written collateral on deadline
- Experience using standard office software/platforms (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRMs)
