Graduate Professional (Integrated Approaches)

Core responsibilities:

• Conduct background research on gender and disarmament issues
• Assist in planning and implementing programme activities including meetings, workshops, conferences, and field missions
• Contribute to day-to-day communication, coordination, and administrative tasks
• Perform other tasks as required by programme staff

This role contributes to generating policy-relevant knowledge and providing practical tools to apply a gender perspective to disarmament work, supporting a more sustainable and peaceful world through research and programme implementation.

Required qualifications and experience:

• Enrolled in or recently graduated from a graduate school programme (second university degree or higher)
• Preference for post-graduate degrees in international relations, political science, international law, or gender studies
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and InDesign
• Fluency in English (both oral and written) required; knowledge of other UN languages is an asset

This is a Graduate Professional Programme position. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of the Graduate Professional or their sponsoring institutions. No salary or benefits are mentioned in the posting.
