Mission

What you will drive

  • Lead the six-month scoping and design phase of the Installer Voices initiative across Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Nigeria, and Pakistan, including mapping the installer constituency and policy landscape, coordinating national teams, and testing program components.
  • Develop a costed, evidenced blueprint for Phase 2, synthesizing research into a sequenced plan with validated assumptions, per-country cost models, and strategic recommendations.
  • Design and drive structured research (installer interviews, channel audits, power analysis) and coordinate with in-country partners to identify winnable near-term policy reforms.
  • Oversee impact measurement design, including theory of change, indicators, and logframe, and build the case for funders to support Phase 2.

Impact

The difference you'll make

This role will empower solar and battery installers in five emerging markets to become a credible political voice, influencing clean energy policies that accelerate the energy transition and create equitable economic opportunities.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • 7+ years in advocacy, campaigns, policy, public affairs, or program strategy with proven experience building new initiatives.
  • Knowledge of clean energy policy (especially solar) and policy levers like net metering, grid connection, and import duties.
  • Strong research and analytical skills: stakeholder mapping, power analysis, landscape assessment.
  • Experience working across cultures and time zones, ideally in emerging markets; exceptional English writing skills.

Benefits

What's in it for you

Remote work with flexible hours across time zones; opportunity to build a global initiative from scratch; work with a small, supportive global team; potential to grow into a leadership role for Phase 2.
