What you will drive

  • Translate 3ie's complex technical work and strategic vision into clear, compelling stories for diverse external audiences including donors, partners, and influencers.
  • Design and produce high-quality, donor-ready materials such as pitch decks, briefs, case studies, proposals, and campaign assets to support fundraising, networking, and advocacy initiatives.
  • Develop tailored narratives and messaging, and work closely with senior leaders to refine key messages for donor meetings, events, and outreach.
  • Respond quickly to requests for high-quality communications support and ensure all materials are polished, professional, and aligned with 3ie's branding.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • 3–6 years of professional experience in development communications, strategic communications, marketing, or storytelling roles within international development, social impact, nonprofits, or mission-driven organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical ideas into clear, compelling narratives tailored to different audiences, including donors, partners, and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong graphic design and visual communication skills, with working knowledge of professional design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Figma, or equivalent platforms.
  • Proven experience producing donor-facing or partner-facing materials, including pitch decks, briefs, case studies, proposals, or campaign assets, with a strong eye for layout, branding, and narrative flow.
