Global Manager of Communities & In-Person Events ( North America, LATAM & Africa) Volunteer

Core responsibilities:

• Lead community strategy across North America, LATAM & Africa by guiding regional city lead managers, supporting distributed volunteer teams, monitoring community health metrics, and helping shape regional priorities
• Enable high-impact in-person events worldwide by supporting city leads in planning local meetups, providing playbooks and best practices, ensuring collaboration between teams, and streamlining logistics
• Build tools, systems, and recognition for a global volunteer network by developing reporting frameworks, contributing to onboarding tools and training materials, supporting volunteer recognition programs, and recommending improvements to community systems

This role helps build spaces where climate collaboration becomes action, directly contributing to one of the world's most active climate communities and helping thousands of climate doers accelerate meaningful change worldwide.

Required skills and experience:

• Experience in community building, events management, or program operations
• Experience working with distributed teams or volunteer networks
• Familiarity with tools like Circle, WhatsApp, LUMA, Notion, Airtable (if applicable)
• Purpose-driven, proactive leadership approach with ability to work across multiple cultures and time zones
