Global Insurance Summer Intern

Core responsibilities:

• Assist with US Casualty, Global Property, and U.S. Financial Professional insurance renewals including assembling renewal information, participating in underwriting meetings, and reviewing policy documentation
• Assist the development and construction team with standardizing contractual risk management forms by assembling information from local contacts
• Compile and analyze risk data on AES businesses and insurance programs, assisting in production of risk and management reports
• Support the department's work stream to consolidate global insurance programs and identify strategies for improved efficiencies in data collection, storage, and analysis

Required qualifications:

• Pursuing a BBA with concentration in Risk Management and Insurance or Finance
• Prefer GPA of 3.0 or higher and rising junior or senior class level
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint with strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated self-motivation, ability to work independently under minimum supervision, and comfortable in fast-paced environments dealing with ambiguity

Expected hourly rate: $21.00 - $30.18/hour.
