๐Ÿ“ Tips for Applying to Lime

1

Highlight your experience with global equity plans in your resume, specifying the countries and types of plans you've managed (e.g., ESPP, RSUs, stock options).

2

Quantify your achievements: for example, 'Managed equity for 2,000+ employees across 15 countries, ensuring 100% compliance with local regulations.'

3

Showcase your familiarity with equity management platforms (e.g., Shareworks, Carta, E*TRADE) and your ability to leverage automation tools to improve efficiency.

4

๐Ÿ” Research Before Applying

To stand out, make sure you've researched:

  • โ†’ Read Lime's latest press releases and news about their expansion plans and sustainability initiatives to understand their current growth trajectory.
  • โ†’ Review Lime's equity program details if available, such as their 10-K or proxy statement, to understand the types of equity they offer.
  • โ†’ Look into Lime's company culture and values, perhaps through employee reviews on Glassdoor, to gauge how they prioritize employee experience.
  • โ†’ Research the micromobility industry trends and challenges, especially regarding global operations and regulatory environments.

๐Ÿ’ฌ Prepare for These Interview Topics

Based on this role, you may be asked about:

1 How would you handle an equity grant for a new hire in a country with complex tax rules, such as India or Brazil?
2 Describe a time you had to ensure compliance with SEC regulations and internal policies. What steps did you take?
3 How do you approach educating employees about their equity compensation, especially in a remote-first environment?
4 What experience do you have with equity plan management software? How have you used data analytics to improve accuracy?
5 Given Lime's fast growth, how would you scale equity administration processes to support expansion into new markets?

โš ๏ธ Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Avoid a generic resume that doesn't highlight your global equity experience. Tailor it to emphasize multi-country administration and compliance.
  • Don't overlook the importance of soft skills. While technical expertise is key, this role requires strong communication and stakeholder managementโ€”demonstrate those in your application.
  • Avoid showing resistance to using AI or automation. Lime is looking for someone who embraces technology to improve efficiency, so highlight your willingness to adopt new tools.
