Mission
What you will drive
Strategic Communications
- Design and implement global campaigns aligned with cross-regional research priorities and organizational strategy in collaboration with the Global Management Team
- Monitor global trends in energy, finance, and policy to support strategic planning and ensure IEEFA's communications stay timely and relevant
- Support partnerships with aligned organizations, media outlets, and thought leaders to expand IEEFA's global visibility and amplify key messages
- Implement and uphold visual and editorial branding standards to ensure all global products reflect IEEFA's core values
Digital Strategy
- Manage IEEFA's global digital channels (including website, social media, and newsletters) to ensure consistent, high-impact messaging across platforms
- Supervise the Web Content Lead to ensure the development of cohesive website projects that are regionally consistent and optimized for user experience
- Champion digital innovation across IEEFA's platforms, including webinars and interactive data storytelling
Internal Collaboration & Capacity Building
- Strengthen cross-regional collaboration and knowledge sharing through proactive internal communications
- Partner with IT to ensure communications software effectively support regional teams' needs
- Facilitate meetings of IEEFA's Global Communications Team to promote knowledge sharing and coordination
- Provide reports to the Global Management Team on global communications progress, initiatives, and outcomes

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Bachelor's degree (or regional equivalent) in Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- At least seven years of progressively responsible experience in strategic communications, public affairs, or media relations, ideally in a research, academic, or policy-oriented nonprofit environment
- At least three years of strong leadership and project management skills
- Strong cross-cultural inclusive communication skills
- Demonstrated success managing sophisticated digital campaigns and online engagement strategies
- Strong facilitator with the ability to build consensus and compromise
- Skill in conflict resolution, negotiation, and clearly communicating decisions and rationales
- Exceptional writing, editing, and strategic thinking skills
- Commitment to sustainable energy and IEEFA's mission
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- Familiarity with key topics and issues related to the energy transition
- Experience coordinating remotely across multiple international regions or time zones
