The Gift Processing Coordinator role is responsible for the intake, tracking, and allocation of all incoming gifts to Goodnation Foundation and Goodnation Action.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the intake, tracking, and allocation of all incoming gifts to Goodnation Foundation and Goodnation Action
• Maintain expertise in all payment methods accepted by Goodnation; provide clear instructions and required details to staff and funders
• Monitor all bank accounts and payment platforms daily to identify and record new gifts
• Own the donor acknowledgment process on Mazlo, Ignite, and off platform, including timely and accurate acknowledgment letters

This role plays a critical operational function at the intersection of finance, programs, and development, ensuring that donor funds are recorded correctly, allocated in a timely manner, and compliant with internal policies and funder requirements, supporting Goodnation's mission to address root causes of societal problems and drive meaningful social impact.

Required skills and experience:

• Experience in nonprofit finance or accounting, nonprofit management, grant management, business administration, or a related field
• Comfort with finance technology solutions or ability to learn new systems quickly
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to ensure data integrity across systems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

This full-time position will be hybrid remote for employees located in the NYC area, with every other Wednesday in the Financial District office. Other employees will be fully remote, with the expectation they visit the team in NYC twice a year. This role will be hired by Goodnation Philanthropy Advisors, with the option to be hired under Goodnation Foundation if there is a need for loan forgiveness.
