Gender and Human Rights Analyst (South Korean nationals only)

Core responsibilities:

• Strengthen integration of Gender and Human Rights-based approach in UNFPA's programs and projects in Angola
• Support capacity development activities for stakeholders on human rights, gender equality, and adolescent sexual and reproductive health services
• Advocate for policy changes by drafting talking points, key messages, and reports for government engagement
• Support planning, monitoring, and reporting of gender-responsive programmatic activities focused on adolescent girls and young women

This role contributes to UNFPA's transformative results by promoting gender equality, improving access to comprehensive sexuality education and adolescent-friendly sexual and reproductive health services, and preventing gender-based violence and harmful practices among adolescent girls in Angola.

Required qualifications:

• South Korean nationality (mandatory requirement)
• Experience in gender and human rights programming, particularly in sexual and reproductive health contexts
• Ability to support capacity development and training programs for various stakeholders
• Skills in policy analysis, advocacy, and report drafting for government engagement

This is a UN Volunteer position with the following details:
