Fundraising Manager

About the Role

The Fundraising Manager will lead the charity's fundraising efforts to improve the lives of those affected by Waldenstrom's macroglobulinaemia (WM) and lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma (LPL).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the creation and implementation of the charity's fundraising strategy to ensure a sustainable base for improving lives affected by WM and LPL
• Deliver fundraising activities, implementing strategy while quickly identifying and capitalizing on opportunities in a fast-paced environment
• Work alongside the CEO to create a major donor programme, managing relationships and shaping the nature of support from major donors
• Speak and write persuasively to engage stakeholders long-term as an adept relationship manager

This role creates positive change by ensuring the charity has a sustainable funding base to improve the lives of people affected by rare forms of blood cancer, allowing the right candidate to create something from the ground up and see tangible impact quickly.

• Experience in working directly with beneficiaries with an empathetic demeanor
• Adept relationship management skills with ability to speak and write persuasively
