Fundraising Lead

Core responsibilities:

• Lead L&DC's overall fundraising and resource mobilisation efforts
• Develop, maintain and expand a prospect list of potential funders including foundations, philanthropic institutions, bilateral and multilateral donors
• Build and manage strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective funders
• Lead the development of funding proposals, concept notes, and grant applications

This role creates positive change by securing financial resources to enable the Loss and Damage Collaboration to achieve its ambitious mission of addressing climate-related loss and damage through strategic fundraising and resource mobilisation.

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years' relevant professional experience in fundraising, resource mobilisation and/or development
• Proven experience securing funding for non-profit organisations
• Demonstrated experience leading proposal development and managing complex funding applications
• Experience working in climate, development, human rights or social justice contexts is strongly preferred
