Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Lead the design and execution of the organization's fundraising plan, aligned with GRI's strategy, with a focus on identifying and securing new donors (institutional, corporate, and philanthropic) and gifts.
- Set and achieve fundraising goals for GRI, developing up-to-date donor mapping and establishing a fundraising relationship tracking system.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key donors, representing the organization externally to ensure visibility and credibility for GRI.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the fundraising team to achieve its objectives, fostering collaboration, accountability, and innovation across teams.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
Required skills, experience, qualifications:
- 10+ years in fundraising, including fundraising leadership experience, with proven success in securing large (more than EU 1 million) donations and government grants.
- Proven success raising funds from private foundations, with experience in developing and executing fundraising plans, managing donor pipelines, and preparing proposals.
- Expertise and extensive networks in philanthropy, international development funding, and corporate giving, with knowledge of corporate sustainability reporting.
- Strong strategic thinking, excellent proposal writing, communication, and relationship management skills, with a commitment to ethical fundraising and sustainability-aligned practices.
