Fund and Sponsorship Development Coordinator

• Develop and implement annual fundraising plans aligned with organizational goals.
• Design and execute digital fundraising campaigns across email, social media, and website.
• Plan and execute fundraising events (galas, advocacy summits, house parties, etc.).
• Develop a sponsorship strategy for the annual convention, including tiered packages and benefits.

This role advances the NAACP Virginia State Conference's mission of equity, justice, and advocacy by mobilizing resources and deepening relationships with supporters, enabling the organization to continue its civil rights work.

• 2–4 years experience in nonprofit fundraising, development, or event planning.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills with a commitment to racial and social justice.
• Familiarity with donor databases (e.g., EveryAction, Salesforce, Bloomerang).
• Experience with digital tools (e.g., Canva, Mailchimp, Classy, GiveButter).
