Fullstack Engineer, Product Engineering

Core responsibilities:

• Build customer-facing functionality across backend and frontend, from API to UI, turning ambiguous problems into small, testable increments and getting them safely into production
• Build for supportability and reliability by participating in on-call rotations, improving operability over time, and designing for safe change with small deployments and quick rollback paths
• Improve team flow and reduce friction by identifying bottlenecks in delivery, reducing recurring toil through automation, and contributing improvements back to paved paths
• Practice pragmatic engineering with reversible, incremental decisions, clear maintainable code, and thoughtful reviews while contributing to team culture as a strong peer

This role creates positive change by building software products that turn ICEYE's satellite data and analytics into outcomes customers can rely on during real events such as floods, wildfires, and earthquakes, helping improve life on Earth by becoming the global source of truth in Earth Observation.

Required qualifications:

• Senior-level experience delivering & maintaining cloud native production software
• Strong experience with Python (FastAPI, async patterns) and TypeScript/React
• Practical delivery mindset with production maturity designing for resilience, debuggability, and supportability
• Strong communication skills to explain trade-offs clearly and align with Product and peers
• Office collaboration: willing to work 3 days per week in the Espoo office
