How to Apply for Full-Time Operations Coordinator (Mid-Level)

at Justice Catalyst Partnerships

🏢 About Justice Catalyst Partnerships

Justice Catalyst Partnerships is a unique nonprofit that provides flexible, recyclable funding to social impact litigators, enabling them to take on high-stakes cases without financial risk. With a $30 million fund supporting over 80 organizations, they are at the forefront of using innovative financial tools to advance social justice. Working here means being part of a small, remote team dedicated to systemic change.

About This Role

As the Operations Coordinator, you'll be the backbone of the organization, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and supporting everything from finance to communications. Your work will directly enable social impact litigators to focus on their cases, knowing that operational details are in capable hands. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety and making a tangible difference behind the scenes.

💡 A Day in the Life

A typical day might start with a team check-in via Zoom, followed by reviewing and responding to emails from JCAF recipients. You might spend the morning updating spreadsheets with fund disbursement data, then shift to drafting a report for the board. In the afternoon, you could be onboarding a new grantee, setting up their files, and scheduling a diligence call, all while coordinating with the Deputy Director on upcoming deadlines. The variety keeps the role dynamic, and you have the flexibility to structure your day around your tasks.
