Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Effectively performing all activities related to developing software solutions including research, analysis, programming, testing, and support according to the chosen development methodology
- Coordinating work with the designated team including developers, product owners, focus groups, and CTO on a regular basis
- Helping stakeholders including non-technical staff and human rights partner organizations by providing relevant information and proactively coaching them
- Planning, testing, and releasing software while maintaining a positive attitude toward software security and development best practices

Required skills and qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in software development
- Proficiency in JavaScript with experience in React, Node.js, and TypeScript
- Proactive and independent working style under minimal supervision

Benefits

Competitive salary for a human rights NGO ranging from USD 30,000 to USD 55,000 per year depending on location and experience. Staff receive 20 days of paid vacation, paid year-end office closing, and local bank holidays. The position is hired on a consultancy contract.
