Full-stack Software Engineer

Core responsibilities:

• Develop a client-facing platform for managing land-restoration projects using Next.js, React, TypeScript and Google Cloud Platform
• Work with a world-class team to tackle climate, biodiversity and land degradation crises
• Build REST APIs including authentication, caching and database queries
• Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways

This role helps regenerate ecosystems by unlocking investment in nature at speed and scale, developing technology that enables projects that capture carbon, protect biodiversity, capture water and positively impact local communities.

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years of front-end development experience with React.js
• Proficiency with TypeScript
• Experience developing REST APIs including auth, caching and DB queries
• Familiarity with integrating 3rd party APIs
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proactive communication and investigation style
• Comfort working in a primarily remote, distributed, global team
• Proximity to Edinburgh or London area for once-per-week co-working
