What you will drive

  • Build and optimize interactive, high-performance web applications using React.js, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS.
  • Implement dynamic map layers, heatmaps, and H3 hexagonal grids using Mapbox GL JS or Leaflet.
  • Develop robust, asynchronous REST and WebSocket endpoints using FastAPI (Python) to serve real-time environmental metrics and threshold alerts.
  • Collaborate on data processing pipelines that handle raster/tabular environmental datasets via Pandas, Xarray, and GDAL.

Contribute directly to a platform protecting critical ecosystems like the Vembanad Ramsar wetland, enabling real-time environmental monitoring and data-driven conservation efforts.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • At least 3+ years of experience as a full-stack developer (or specialized experience as a front-end or back-end developer).
  • Strong knowledge of React, TypeScript and Python.
  • Strong experience with database management tools like PostgreSQL, MySQL and Supabase.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and asynchronous task queues (Celery/Redis) is a major plus.
