Frontend Engineer II

• Build and maintain the digital core of Octopus Energy's customer experience, including billing, statement management, and tariff renewals.
• Develop scalable, performant frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and Next.js to support self-serve journeys.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver products that accelerate the green energy transition.

This role directly contributes to the green energy transition by building digital products that make it easier for customers to switch to renewable energy, heat pumps, solar, and EVs, while lowering bills and enabling greener living.

• 3+ years of experience with React, TypeScript, Next.js, GraphQL, and testing libraries.
• Ability to own the full development cycle from requirements to deployment and monitoring.
• Experience building accessible, scalable, and high-traffic websites.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an empathetic approach to collaboration.
