Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Effectively performing all activities related to developing software solutions including research, analysis, programming, testing, and providing support according to the chosen development methodology
  • Coordinating work regularly with the designated team, including other developers, product owners, focus groups, and CTO
  • Helping related stakeholders, including non-technical staff and human rights partner organizations, by providing relevant information and proactively coaching them
  • Planning, testing, and releasing software while maintaining a positive attitude toward software security and development best practices

This role creates positive change by developing and maintaining Uwazi, an open-source knowledge management tool used by human rights defenders worldwide to manage collections of information, empowering them to act strategically on human rights information.

  • Proficiency in JavaScript
  • Experience in React and Node.js
  • Proactive and independent working style under minimal supervision

Benefits
