What you will drive

This is a focused, project-based position to establish a cohesive visual identity for our progressive faith community. The designer will develop a comprehensive brand kit and versatile templates that our team can use to create consistent, professional materials for years to come. Project Expectations: Refine brand guidelines (color palette, typography, logo usage, visual style) Assess current brand kit and evaluate design assets Design customizable templates for social media posts (Instagram, Facebook stories/posts) Design templates for print materials (event flyers, bulletins, posters) Create email newsletter and announcement templates Provide editable files in formats accessible to non-designers (Canva templates preferred, plus Adobe files) Deliver organized asset library with guidelines for future use Skills & Experience: Strong portfolio demonstrating brand identity and template design work Experience creating user-friendly templates for clients to use independently Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva (or similar accessible platforms) Understanding of nonprofit/community organization communications needs Ability to translate our mission and values into visual language Excellent communication and ability to incorporate feedback All Souls NYC is a Unitarian Universalist congregation on the Upper East Side, New York City. Our congregation dates back to 1819 and has a long and rich history as the first Unitarian Universalist church established in New York City.
