  • Research prospective grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and governmental sources
  • Write and submit compelling cover letters, grant proposals, and letters of inquiry
  • Prepare accurate and timely grant reports and follow-up documentation
  • Maintain organized records of submissions and outcomes

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Highly organized with attention to detail and strong deadline management
  • Comfortable working independently on a freelance basis
  • Experience with food security, hunger relief, or community-based nonprofits is a plus
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and other common grant databases preferred
