Founding Director / Director of Operations

Core responsibilities:

• Co-lead a life-saving Kangaroo Mother Care pilot in Nigeria, owning execution and operational decision-making
• Lead operational delivery, ensuring hospital wards are equipped, staffed, and operating to high standards
• Execute and iterate the pilot model through rapid tests and evidence-based improvements
• Build scalable systems for operations and program delivery suitable for government partnerships

This role creates positive change by leading a life-saving Kangaroo Mother Care pilot in Nigeria that will improve maternal and newborn health outcomes through evidence-based healthcare interventions.

Required skills and experience:

• Experience in operational delivery and management in healthcare or development contexts
• Ability to manage local teams and coordinate with hospital, government, and other key stakeholders
• Experience building scalable systems for operations and program delivery
• Strong decision-making and execution capabilities in pilot programs
