🏢 About Pulsora, Inc.

Pulsora is a mission-driven startup empowering enterprises to enhance ESG and sustainability through innovative compliance and tracking technology. Their focus on AI-enabled solutions and remote-first culture makes them an exciting place for engineers who want to make a tangible impact on global sustainability.

About This Role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will lead complex enterprise deployments of the Pulsora platform, designing AI-enabled solutions to automate compliance and reporting. This role is highly impactful as you directly shape product roadmap based on customer feedback and build proofs-of-concept that accelerate sustainability efforts.

💡 A Day in the Life

A typical day might start with a standup with the engineering team to discuss customer feedback, then you'll dive into building a proof-of-concept for a new AI-driven automation feature. In the afternoon, you could be on a call with a global customer to understand their deployment challenges, followed by coding an integration with their existing analytics platform.

🎯 Who Pulsora, Inc. Is Looking For

  • Has 3-7 years in Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roles, with a track record of leading complex enterprise deployments.
  • Strong experience with AI-assisted development, including prompt engineering, RAG, and AI agents, and can rapidly prototype using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SQL.
  • Comfortable working with REST APIs, integrations, and analytics platforms, and able to design lightweight applications and dashboards.
  • Excellent communicator who can collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to translate customer needs into roadmap priorities.

⚠️ Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Focusing too much on backend engineering without emphasizing customer-facing skills and deployment experience.
  • Ignoring the AI component – this role explicitly requires AI-assisted development, so failing to mention LLM or agent experience is a miss.
  • Being generic about sustainability – show genuine interest and knowledge about ESG challenges, not just buzzwords.
