Food Policy Lead - Argentina

Core responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining a database of institutions' profiles and key decision-makers in city halls, schools, universities, and other major institutions
• Establishing and maintaining contact with key institutional contacts via emails, phone calls, and meetings to persuade institutions to adopt a meat reduction program in their restaurants
• Coordinating and working with chefs, dietitians, nutritionists, and physicians to implement the program in the institutions
• Representing Sinergia Animal and its programs at public events, conferences, media events, and within the NGO and animal protection communities at large

This role creates positive change by reducing animal suffering through implementing meat reduction programs in major public and private institutions in Colombia, promoting more compassionate food choices and building a world where no animals are exploited for food.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Fluent Spanish and advanced English
• Excellent ability to lead negotiations in a kind and constructive manner
• Excellent oral communication, writing, and proofreading skills
• Excellent research and networking skills
• Proven ability to work both independently and in close coordination with a remote team
• Commitment to the mission and objectives of the organization
