Focus Group Consultant

Core responsibilities:

• Organize and conduct focus groups in five non-South Asian immigrant communities in Philadelphia, with at least 10 participants each
• Partner with SAADA to identify appropriate immigrant communities for focus group feedback
• Facilitate focus groups to understand storytelling needs, preservation challenges, and service preferences in immigrant communities
• Deliver a community insights report identifying key themes, shared challenges, and points of convergence/divergence in intergenerational storytelling and heritage preservation

This role helps understand the storytelling needs of immigrant communities to determine the viability of expanding SAADA's intergenerational storytelling board game into broader markets, supporting heritage preservation and cultural understanding.

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in qualitative research
• Demonstrated work with immigrant communities
• Strong qualitative research and facilitation skills
• Proven cultural competency across diverse immigrant populations

Budget: $20,000 (max) + $5,000 for participant incentives. This is a 4-month contract position from June 1, 2026 to September 30, 2026.
