Flight Research Senior Remote Pilot

Core responsibilities:

• Fulfill duties of remote pilot in command in support of Iris in a lead role for the project
• Operate a large UAS in the NAS (National Airspace System) with good stick skills
• Develop and uphold procedures in conjunction with the Flight Test Lead
• Potentially lead and/or manage people or projects

This role contributes to developing and certifying electric air taxis that can reduce urban congestion and enable more time with people and places that matter most, creating sustainable urban air mobility solutions.

Required qualifications:

• Minimum Part 61 certificate with ability to obtain instrument rating (ideally already have it)
• Experience operating medium to large UAS from purpose-built GCS (Ground Control Station)
• Training focused more on system specifics than core skills
• Experience with leading and/or managing people or projects is ideal

Compensation and benefits:

• Base pay range: $149,900 - $245,000/year
