What you will drive

  • Establish fire protection requirements that inform plant design
  • Develop Fire Hazard Analyses, Fire Protection Program, First Safe Shutdown Analyses, and other licensing and design documentation
  • Define equipment architecture, specifications, operational modes, and performance criteria
  • Lead the design of fire protection equipment and perform commissioning and testing of fire protection systems

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Engineering education in Fire Protection, Nuclear, Chemical, or Mechanical
  • Experience performing design of fire protection systems in nuclear, petroleum, petrochemical, or pharmaceutical industries
  • Knowledgeable in nuclear facility fire protection design and operations under NRC or DOE license
  • Experienced with NFPA 804 or NFPA 850, and IBC or IFC standards
