Financial Operations Associate

Core responsibilities:

• Complete client bookkeeping tasks including processing bill payments, reconciling accounts, organizing expense documentation, managing supporting documentation, executing client invoicing and accounts receivable, and processing payroll
• Assist with the preparation and input for monthly reporting and budgeting, ensuring accuracy in financial records and compliance with accounting standards
• Assist in conducting financial analysis to support decision-making and identify trends
• Assist in ensuring financial platforms and processes are effectively used, implemented, and meet the needs of our clients

This role supports progressive organizations working on issues including women's rights, LGBTQ rights, climate action, voter protection, immigration reform, equal access to healthcare, and equal rights, helping them create a more just and equitable existence for all.

Required qualifications:

• 3 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
• Experience successfully working in a remote team environment
• Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer/client engagement and relationship management
• Experience with key software: QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
• Willingness to assist in any and all operational needs of a client
• Strong attention to detail and completeness
• Comfort working in an evolving team and willingness to embrace change and take initiative to ensure quality services

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 annually
• Monthly home office stipend
• 3 weeks of accrued PTO
• 13 paid holidays
