Mission
What you will drive
The Finance & Operations Consultant will provide support in the following areas:
- Finance: Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and tax requirements including coding time and expenses, reviewing travel/event expenses, processing payments, and tracking taxable income
- Project Operations: Coordinate travel and events, manage consultant and vendor contracts, research costs, negotiate contracts, and conduct after-action reviews
- People Operations: Track professional development funds and PTO, update staff profiles, celebrate staff milestones, and ensure compliance with training and policies

What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications and experience:
- Alignment with CM's mission and values including commitment to anti-racism and experience collaborating across differences
- 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably in remote, social impact organizations
- Experience with Mac OSX, Microsoft Office, and cloud-based software (ideally ClickUp, bill.com, or AmTrav)
- Detail orientation, customer service mindset, discretion with confidential information, and ability to learn new systems quickly

This is a temporary consultant position without benefits. The hourly rate is $41-$45/hour based on experience. After the temporary period, there may be an opportunity to apply for a permanent staff role with benefits including:
