Finance Manager, US

• In this role, you'll lead financial operations for an AI safety research organization, managing accounting, budgeting, and compliance across US and UK operations.
• Maintain accurate financial records in Xero through bank reconciliations, transaction coding, and monthly closes.
• Manage accounts payable and expense reimbursements using Ramp and Mercury platforms.
• Prepare financial reports, board packs, and dashboards while tracking grant compliance and restricted fund budgets.
• Own external audit preparation, tax compliance, and implementation of financial controls and automations.
