What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Establish and oversee financial systems to support IAPS as it grows into a fully independent organization
  • Set up accounting infrastructure for US and UK entities, maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with nonprofit and grant requirements
  • Provide clear financial insight to leadership through monthly reports, analysis, and financial planning cycles
  • Manage day-to-day transactions, maintain general ledgers, and ensure IAPS remains financially sound, transparent, and compliant across jurisdictions

Profile

What makes you a great fit

Required skills and experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in finance roles within small or medium-sized organizations, including at least one year with controller-level responsibilities
  • Strong accounting experience including maintaining general ledgers, preparing journal entries, and managing month-end/year-end close processes
  • Demonstrated experience managing nonprofit finances, including reporting, compliance, and working with restricted or grant-based funding
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and nonprofit accounting principles
