Finance Manager

Core responsibilities:

• Establish and oversee financial systems that support IAPS as it grows into an independent organization with US and UK entities
• Manage day-to-day financial operations including AP/AR, payroll processing, and monthly reconciliations
• Prepare financial reports and analysis for leadership, highlighting trends, variances, and areas requiring attention
• Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards, grant requirements, and regulations across jurisdictions
• Set up accounting infrastructure, refine processes, and support annual budgeting and financial planning

This role creates positive change by establishing robust financial systems that enable the Institute for AI Policy and Strategy to grow effectively and maintain compliance, supporting their mission to develop effective AI governance strategies.

Required skills and qualifications:
