Finance Director

Core responsibilities:

• Lead financial planning, forecasting and scenario modelling, providing clear insight on performance, risks and opportunities to the CEO and Board.
• Maintain a clear view of the company’s financial position and cashflow, putting in place appropriate controls, systems and processes to support growth in an emerging market.
• Own commercial finance: pricing strategy, deal modelling, margin analysis and revenue recognition, acting as a senior member of the commercial team.
• Define and maintain standard commercial terms, contract and NDA templates, and approval workflows, including guardrails on key financial terms such as payment terms, credit limits and liability caps.

This role helps ensure that CreditNature's growth is sustainable and well-governed, supporting the company's mission to advance rewilding and ecological restoration through financial innovation.

Required qualifications and skills:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Degree, ideally in a relevant subject, or equivalent experience.
• Xero or similar cloud accounting software and strong Excel / financial modelling skills (desirable).
• Understanding of and interest in rewilding (desirable).

Compensation and work arrangement:

• Salary starting at £75,000.00
• Full time, permanent position (4 day per week also considered at a pro-rata salary)
• Remote role with flexible location (applicants from abroad considered if they can match GMT working hours)
