Finance Assurance Consultant

Core responsibilities:

• Finance system management including SAP analysis, monthly reporting, purchase order creation, goods receipt processing, project creation, budget maintenance, forecasting, vendor management, aged debt reporting, and invoice handling
• Evaluation of cost data and structures against contractual/commercial principles, analysis to identify patterns, themes, trends and risks
• Appraisals of cost capture and commercial management processes, detailed cost verification, payroll audits, and data sampling
• Management of stakeholders through regular communications, supporting production of close-out reports, and presenting outputs to clients

This role helps ensure client objectives are met through value-added commercial assurance services, supporting infrastructure projects that uplift communities and enhance lives.

Required qualifications:

• Ability to support end-to-end service delivery for large and complex infrastructure commissions across private and public sectors
• Strong attention to detail with ability to position commercial context around details for impactful business decisions
• Flexibility to adapt to different client requirements at short notice, including remote work and travel throughout UK and abroad
• Experience with finance system management, cost data analysis, stakeholder management, and mentoring junior staff
