Final evaluation of the Project: Supporting Member States in Implementing UNESCO’s Recommendation on the Ethics of AI

Conduct the final evaluation of the project 'Supporting Member States in Implementing UNESCO’s Recommendation on the Ethics of AI through Innovative Tools'.

• Assess the extent to which the project has translated UNESCO’s Recommendation on the Ethics of AI into national/regional institutional and regulatory frameworks.
• Review project performance, generate lessons learned, and provide strategic recommendations for future programming and scaling up AI ethics tools.

This evaluation will help ensure that UNESCO's AI ethics recommendations are effectively implemented, promoting ethical AI development globally and protecting human rights.

• Proven experience in evaluating international development projects, preferably in AI ethics or technology policy.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills, including data collection and analysis.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with UNESCO's work and the European Commission's funding mechanisms is an asset.

Compensation is not specified. The role is a consultancy contract with UNESCO.
