Field Service Technician

Core responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and report on quality and design concerns on Xos vehicles and products
• Demonstrate proficiency in low voltage (LV) and high voltage (HV) electrical diagnosis, controls, and module programming
• Provide professional customer facing support through face-to-face interactions and through phone and email communications
• Complete timely and accurate case notes, repair orders, and initiate new cases as required

This role contributes to decarbonizing commercial transportation by maintaining and repairing electric trucks, supporting the transition to cleaner, more sustainable fleet operations.

Required qualifications:

• Proven proficiency with high and low voltage electrical systems
• Associates Degree or Vocational Certificate in automotive service technology related field or 4+ years of relevant experience
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record (driving is an essential function)
• Must be available to travel 60-80% of the time including overnight stays, weekends, and holidays
