Field Project Manager

As a Field Project Manager at SmartRent, you will lead large-scale smart home conversion projects by:

• Managing contractors, communicating with property management staff, and overseeing field operations to ensure efficient project completion
• Conducting site walk-throughs for implementation planning and managing all project documentation
• Training, managing performance, and providing coaching/feedback to maximize team performance and productivity
• Traveling extensively (up to 80% of the time) to site locations across the country to manage projects effectively

This role creates positive change by helping owners and operators simplify operations, cut costs, and deliver exceptional resident experiences through smart home technology, ultimately shaping the future of property technology and redefining what it means to make rental housing smarter.

Required qualifications for this role include:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with natural leadership abilities
• Background in residential construction management and technical support experience with Enterprise Hardware/Software or SaaS Solutions
• Hands-on experience training customers on software systems and previous experience in face-to-face client meetings
• Ability to de-escalate situations, resolve conflicts effectively, and willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
