Field Organizer - Tallahassee

• Mobilize ACLU of Florida supporters, volunteers, and voters to build power across the state, with a focus on the Leon County region.
• Organize volunteer-led teams, host Know Your Rights trainings, lead advocacy and skills trainings, and coordinate community events, phone banks, and canvassing.
• Support legislative session activities, coalition events, statewide mobilizations, and volunteer testimonies.
• Collaborate with the Field team to track progress toward goals, produce reports, and adjust field plans as necessary.

This role directly advances civil liberties and civil rights in Florida by mobilizing grassroots support, building community power, and influencing decision-makers on key issues such as free speech and democracy.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
• Demonstrated commitment to civil rights, civil liberties, and social justice, with alignment to the ACLU-FL mission.
• Experience in community/field organizing and base building; experience with a 'snowflake' organizing model preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, ability to speak in public, facilitate meetings, and work collaboratively with diverse groups.

This is a regular, bargaining-unit position represented by NOLSW/UAW Local 2320. Compensation and benefits are determined by the collective bargaining agreement. The role offers the opportunity to work with a leading civil rights organization and make a tangible impact on Florida's policies.
