Field Operations Training Manager

Core responsibilities:

• Manage, coach, and support a team of Advanced Autonomous Vehicle Operators across multiple site locations, ensuring they adhere to the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
• Design, implement, and update training programs using Adult Learning Principles, and develop/maintain a library of training reference materials, SOPs, and job aids.
• Administer the Learning Management System (LMS) to assign courses, track completion rates, manage certifications, and analyze training performance metrics.
• Foster a diverse and inclusive team environment, resolve conflicts, champion career development, and mentor Advanced Operators on training peers to establish a scalable peer-mentorship program.

This role creates positive change by scaling autonomous vehicle operations safely through workforce development, bridging technical operations with training to ensure the highest safety standards while expanding access to autonomous transit solutions that reduce congestion and create greener, more accessible cities.

Required skills and qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in Training Management, Learning & Development, or Operations Management with demonstrated application of Adult Learning Theory.
• Hands-on experience administering an online LMS (e.g., Docebo, Canvas, TalentLMS) and proficiency in creating digital training materials.
• A clean driving record and strong understanding of safety culture/protocol compliance, with ability to interpret road safety laws and defensive driving techniques.
• Strong emotional intelligence, conflict resolution skills, and ability to give/receive constructive feedback while fostering psychological safety.
