About the Role

The Field IT Engineer ensures effective IT operations for Call Center offices aligned with Republic Services' business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing level two support for WANs, LANs, field servers, and applications with on-call and on-site support
  • Acting as liaison between field staff, management, vendors, and Corporate IT
  • Identifying and implementing proactive solutions for cost savings and operational efficiency
  • Managing IT infrastructure, troubleshooting Cisco VOIP systems, and maintaining vendor relationships

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Associate's degree in IT or related field (Bachelor's in MIS preferred)
  • 4 years of computer network experience (minimum 2 years hands-on)
  • Experience with Cisco VOIP/UCCE systems
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification
