Fellowship Associate (US-based)

• Coordinate and execute the Activate Anywhere Community's virtual and in-person activities, including bi-weekly virtual programming, quarterly in-person trips, meetings between visitors and fellows, and social events.
• Keep accurate fellowship records and support the national Fellowship Team in managing fellow data, while managing Boston's community calendar and the Managing Director's individual calendar.
• Support cross-functional projects such as scheduling and coordinating Fellow selection and onboarding, and identify opportunities for process improvement by analyzing work and learning from colleagues.
• Support reporting to funders/partners and communications with external stakeholders, and assist with general support to other Activate Fellowship communities and initiatives.

This role supports scientists and engineers in bringing their research to market through the Activate Fellowship, helping launch companies that create jobs, raise funding, and define new market categories to reinvent our world.

• Is an organizational pro who prioritizes effectively to meet multiple deadlines and possesses excellent attention to detail.
• Is quick and responsive in resolving problems as they arise and maintains excellent responsiveness in digital/remote workspaces.
• Is project and data savvy, comfortable with administrative duties, spreadsheets, and data management systems.
• Is a community connector who finds creative ways to build community and can execute events from initial idea to final thank-you note, with strong interpersonal skills and an eye for customer experience.

Competitive salary range of $70,000-$75,000 with a generous benefits package that includes professional development, $2,000 in annual wellness funds, flexible paid time off, healthcare premiums covered at 90%, and the opportunity to join a retirement plan with a 3% match beginning after 3 months at Activate.
