What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Support GitLab Foundation's storytelling and thought leadership by creating original content that supports the mission and elevates the work
  • Draft, edit, and produce high-quality content across channels including blog posts, social media, newsletters, marketing materials, presentations, and internal updates
  • Support marketing and engagement campaigns by managing timelines, coordinating contributors, and tracking deliverables
  • Manage communications workflows, tools, and documentation to ensure efficient, high-quality execution in a remote environment

What makes you a great fit

Required skills and experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate complex ideas into clear, accessible messaging
  • Organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver work on tight timelines
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills including comfort working with senior leaders and cross-functional partners
